Fun Family Weekend.......make that "Week!"

One more family holiday weekend in the books. It actually began on Sunday with the arrival of my Sister in law and her husband from Anacortes WA. My husband Stan and his brother in law, along with a couple of Stan's friends from Utah spent the week hunting pheasant.

My Sister in law, April and I spent the week on many nature walks. The weather was increadably beautiful for this time of year. It was a lot of fun but reminded me of how out of shape I am. I have no intention of spoiling this post by beating myself up for that but I will be going to work on my weekness immediately.

Thanksgiving dinner was an evening meal hosted by my Brother-in-law Jess and his wife Lisa.

The lovely turkey was prepared by Jess. This guy might look like any old turkey but believe me plenty of prep went into getting him done and it was worth it. He was delicious! I was thankful to be able to share good food & great wine with family & friends on Thanksgiving 2010.
